Instructions

Requesting adminship

  1. Review the information at Meta:Administrators; specifically, check that you meet the following requirements:
    • Have a user page on Meta.
    • Have a valid contact address (either a confirmed email address in preferences or a valid email address on the user page).
    • Are an active contributor on Meta (this is a subjective, not objective, measure; there is no official edit count).
  2. Decide whether you want to request regular or limited adminship. Standards for limited adminship are somewhat lower, but you will only be allowed to use your adminship for the task requested and the time period specified.
  3. Enter your username below, submit the form, and fill in the request form that comes up.

  4. Place a request on this page, by transcluding the subpage, for example {{Meta:Requests for adminship/Username}}.

Requesting translation adminship

  1. Recall that translation adminship is not required to translate pages.
  2. Review the information at Meta:Translation administrators; specifically, check that you meet the following requirements:
    • Have a user page on Meta.
    • Have knowledge of proper translation markup (please link to diffs of you preparing a page for translation).
    • Have some experience on WickedGov wikis (this is a subjective, not objective, measure; there is no official edit count).
  3. Enter your username below, submit the form, and fill in the request form that comes up.

  4. Place a request on this page, by transcluding the subpage, for example {{Meta:Requests for adminship/Username}}.

Requesting bureaucratship

  1. Review the information at Meta:Bureaucrats; specifically, check that you meet the following requirements:
    • Are currently a full Meta administrator.
    • Have a user page on Meta.
    • Have a valid contact address (either a confirmed email address in preferences or a valid email address on the user page).
    • Are an active contributor on Meta (this is a subjective, not objective, measure; there is no official edit count).
  2. Enter your username below, submit the form, and fill in the request form that comes up.

  3. Place a request on this page, by transcluding the subpage, for example {{Meta:Requests for bureaucratship/Username}}.
